Inside Every Session
A Typical Session Includes
Warm-up and movement preparation
Athletes raise their body temperature and prepare their joints and muscles with dynamic movements, running drills, and coordination exercises.
Strength and body control
Athletes practice age-appropriate strength exercises to improve balance, posture, core stability, and control. The focus is on sound technique and controlled movement.
Flexibility and mobility
Dynamic stretches and range-of-motion exercises help athletes move freely through sport-related positions, such as reaching, turning, squatting, and changing direction.
Agility and footwork
Cone drills, movement patterns, and reaction exercises help athletes accelerate, decelerate, change direction, and keep their balance while moving.
First-step quickness
Short starts and reaction drills teach athletes to respond quickly, push off efficiently, and move into space with control.
Acceleration
Short, focused running drills help athletes practice body position, arm drive, stride mechanics, and building speed over the first few steps.
Sport-related application
Coaches connect the movement skills to actions used in the athletes’ sports, helping them practice transferring strength, footwork, and speed into play.
Each session is structured to keep athletes moving, learning, and improving throughout the hour.
